Bill Totten — How Stupid Do They Think We Are?

Zbigniew Brzezinski and the CFR Put War Plans in a 1997 Book. It is “A Blueprint for World Dictatorship”, says a former German Defense and NATO Official who warned of global domination in 1984, in an exclusive interview with From The Wilderness by Michael C. Ruppert

It's impossible to understand world events without understanding the essentials of this. There is method to the apparent madness.

I understand that the US precipitated two wars (Iraq and Afghanistan) which they then lost. Is that how they plan to control Eurasia, by losing?

Russia and China are nuclear powers in their own right, so the most that could be achieved is containment. Good luck with that.

What we are more likely to see are three centers of power, supposedly rivals, repressing their people in remarkably similar fashion.

I don't think they are talking about hard power. More soft power. The US probably sees it self as competing for the type of legal, economic, capital, social systems, trade systems. If they adopt western style rules in their societies over generations their production and resources are beneficial to us... think in terms of the dominant western economists fairy tale trade models where imports are real benefits and exports a cost. Along with capital and currency ala IMF and World bank, Harvard, Stanford. Adopting reciprocal rules for property rights, government granted monopolies, stuff like that. Using that as a view point, the game is to get them into our sphere and trade with us.

To hatch a plan like this would take an enormous investment in resources and continuity between departments, politicians over decades. I'm not so sure of the wisdom of the entire western model world anyhow. Most Western economists assume that China is 'becoming capitalist' and that their companies are limited liability companies -- like western ones that can go out of business and try to make profits. The reality is that most of the large businesses are unlimited liability companies that aren't required to make profits. China isn't a capitalist democracy and never will be. Russia isn't either. There are for profit, limited liability companies that exist but they aren't dominant.

I think the game is far simpler than the Author of the article. China and Russia and the US are controlled by people that are fearful of losing their power from internal challenges. External games are secondary. Domestic agendas and rivalries are more important. Until the price of Space travel drops to about 1/10 of current, no one on the planet has any choice but to pick the least bad government and we all have to fight for land and resources as hard as we can without risking war.

Hope you are right, but that's apparently not the way the neocons see it. If McCain had been elected, we'd be at war with Iran already.

And a lot of this is about where the energy pipelines are going to go and who is going to control them.

Thanks for posting this, Tom. Abby Martin was recently hammered by the corporate media for her position on 9/11.

Should be: "how stupid do WE think THEY are?"

The US doesn't need energy from the Eastern hemisphere. We've enough in the west to last more than 100 years...

Europe is concerned about the end of world based on "scientific" climate models, they're not trying to secure more.

Russia and China on the other hand need the 3 million tons of grain produced in Ukraine annually to reach markets to prevent destabilizing food inflation.

The US always sees the world through it's blurry goggles but the biggest threat to low wage countries like China or Russia is high food prices. The US government controls world markets and food prices for the most part. Ukraine is one country that isn't well controlled by US players. Though US has been "planting" US farmers and agricultural companies in Ukraine at an accelerating pace. While even accidently prosecuting US government sponsored interests for their activity

SO TRANSPARENT

THE DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY AND THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE CLEARLY STATE THAT TRANSACTIONS WITH COMPANIES WHICH DO BIG BUSINESS WITH IRAN & TEHRAN IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

THAT MEANS IF YOU BUY OIL & GAS PIPES FROM AN INDIAN PIPE MILL IN GUJARAT WHO SUPPLIES THE NATIONAL IRANIAN GAS AUTHORITY WHICH IS CONTROLLED BY THE IRANIAN REVOLUTIONARY GUARDS ... THAT COMPANY IS PROBABLY IN VIOLATION.

NOW, LOOK AT THE FIRST KEYSTONE PIPE LINE.

A LOT, IF NOT SIGNIFICANT PORTION OF THE FIRST KEYSTONE PIPELINE WAS MADE WITH STEEL PIPES FROM GUJARAT PIPE MILLS IMPORTED HERE TO THE USA TO UNDERCUT AMERICAN USA STEEL COMPANIES.

THE STEEL ALSO HAPPENS TO HAVE BEEN COMPROMISED ... SUBSTANDARD STEEL WHICH WILL CAUSE PROBLEMS LATER.

CRAPPY STEEL FROM A CRAPPY STEEL PIPE MILL IN GUJARAT INDIA WHO DO BUSINESS WITH THE IRANIAN REVOLUTIONARY GUARDS ....

Brzezinski:

"The nation state as a fundamental unit of man's organized life has ceased to be the principal creative force: International banks and multinational corporations are acting and planning in terms that are far in advance of the political concepts of the nation-state."

"People, governments and economies of all nations must serve the needs of multinational banks and corporations."

“The technotronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values. Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up-to-date complete files containing even the most personal information about the citizen. These files will be subject to instantaneous retrieval by the authorities. ”

“In the technotronic society the trend would seem to be towards the aggregation of the individual support of millions of uncoordinated citizens, easily within the reach of magnetic and attractive personalities exploiting the latest communications techniques to manipulate emotions and control reason.”

Brzezinski, Zbigniew, Between Two Ages: America’s Role in the Technetronic Era (New York: Viking Press, 1973)

“We have a large public that is very ignorant about public affairs and very susceptible to simplistic slogans by candidates who appear out of nowhere, have no track record, but mouth appealing slogans”

“Most Americans are close to total ignorance about the world. They are ignorant. That is an unhealthy condition in a country in which foreign policy has to be endorsed by the people if it is to be pursued. And it makes it much more difficult for any president to pursue an intelligent policy that does justice to the complexity of the world.”

“[American exceptionalism] is a reaction to the inability of people to understand global complexity or important issues like American energy dependency. Therefore, they search for simplistic sources of comfort and clarity. And the people that they are now selecting to be, so to speak, the spokespersons of their anxieties are, in most cases, stunningly ignorant.”

“This regionalization is in keeping with the Tri-Lateral Plan which calls for a gradual convergence of East and West, ultimately leading toward the goal of one world government. National sovereignty is no longer a viable concept.”

… Persisting social crisis, the emergence of a charismatic personality, and the exploitation of mass media to obtain public confidence would be the steppingstones in the piecemeal transformation of the United States into a highly controlled society.”
